Class XII Arts continued their winning spree as they lifted the coveted Inter-Class Futsal Championship held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panjim. The tournament, held over two days, was a well-organised initiative of the Student Council, under the leadership of Sports Secretary, Asmita Khaunte.

Day One of the event saw teams representing all classes lock horns with each other in the group stages in a bid to qualify for the elusive semi-finals. The teams re-gathered at the Oratory on September 15 to complete their group engagements, and contest the knockouts, backed by loud cheers from their teachers and classmates. XI Commerce B defeated XI Arts 3-1 on penalties in the first semi-final to set up a final clash with XII Arts, who overcame XI Commerce A 4-2. The final was a nail-biting encounter, a true test of the best, but it was XII Arts who emerged victorious over XI Commerce B with a hard-fought 3-1 victory.

To a well-deserved round of applause from the supportive audience, the Principal, Fr. Savio Gomes, presented the winners and runners up with their trophies. Johnson Horta (XII Arts) and Saad Naroo (XI Commerce A) were jointly declared the Best Players. Joseph D’Souza (XI Commerce B) finished as the highest scorer, with 13 goals while Nathan D’Lima (XII Commerce A) was adjudged the best goal keeper.
